Humboldt Fellowships
Since December 2021, Prof. Tsotsas serves as a scout in the Henriette Herz program of the renowned Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. So, he can select postdoctoral or experienced researchers for Humboldt fellowships with his own work group in Magdeburg (for up to two years). For the preparation of fellowship nominations in the Henriette Herz program, postdoctoral visiting scholarships are offered by the Chair of Thermal Process Engineering. In height of 5000 € each, they shall cover travel and living expenses for a short visit to Magdeburg, with the purpose of preparing said nomination by conducting a relevant miniproject. With the goal of supporting diversity in excellence, only female candidates and candidates of any gender from developing countries (according to the attached list, China and India excluded) are eligible for a scholarship. Applications are informal and can be submitted anytime to . They should contain CV, publication list and ideas about the miniproject and a possible subsequent fellowship. Excellence criteria of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation must be fulfilled.
