10th European Drying Conference (EuroDrying 2027)

We are proud to invite you to the 10th instalment of the European Drying Conference (EuroDrying) to present and discuss the latest developments in drying technology in research and applications!
Venue
The conference will be held at Maritim Hotel Magdeburg, walking distance to Magdeburg Central Station and the city centre.
Topics
The conference is open to all contributions regarding fundamental research in drying, applications of fundamentals to drying processes, in particular also contributions from industry. Following the discussions at the 9th European Drying Conference in Wageningen 2025, the following topics are of particular interest:

Programme at a glance
EuroDrying 2027 will host a three-track presentation programme with

six (6) invited keynote lecture,
-
up to eighty-five (85) oral presentations.
Additionally, poster contributions can be submitted. Posters will be on display throughout the event.
Opportunity to publish a full paper in a Special Issue of Drying Technology Journal (Taylor & Francis) will be offered to selected contributions after the event.
Exhibition and Sponsoring

Travel Directions
Magdeburg is directly reachable from the airports at Hannover, Berlin and Leipzig by Deutsche Bahn (railway) within 90 minutes using IC connections to Magdeburg Central Station. The conference venue is walking distance (about 400 m, 5 mins) from Magdeburg Central Station.
Magdeburg Central Station is also accessible via major railway hubs Berlin, Hannover, Halle, and Leipzig via long-distance trains (IC lines), regional (RE lines) and local trains (RB lines).
Magdeburg is directly located at the major motorways (Autobahnen) A2 and A14, furthermore via the federal motorways B1, B71, B81, B184, B189 and B246.
If you travel by long-distance coaches (bus services, e.g., FlixBus), you will arrive at Magdeburg Central Bus Station (ZOB) that is located directly next to the railway station Magdeburg Central Station.
